Tucked away from their respective seats of government they develop a dogged determination to retain their independence. Welcome to the Brian Bedford Band Page! The BBBand is a dynamic collaboration of northerners from both sides of the Atlantic. Brian & Jacey Bedford, lately of the fine vocal trio, Artisan, have joined forces with the Seattle duo William Pint & Felicia Dale and Lancastrian instrumental virtuoso, Ben Walker. Five voices, two songwriters and fifteen instruments including guitars, cello, Uilleann pipes, piano, hurdy-gurdy, octave mandolin, whistles, concertina, hand percussion, fiddles, flute and bass flute. They effortlessly swap leads and harmony vocals between them and when the voices have had their say, the tunes kick off!

Songs are mostly by Brian Bedford, Artisan's songwriter noted for his stylish use of words and his way of getting to the heart of the matter, whether being silly or serious. His songs - including 'What's the Use of Wings' - have been covered by various artists worldwide and he loves to get sightings of his songs sung by other people. 
Brian's been writing lots of new songs post-Artisan and they're sounding great. In addition Ben also writes some fabulous songs and William and Felicia have a great ear for picking up good tunes and traditional songs that can be safely 'messed with'. BBBand arrangements are clever but still accessible. There's a wide variety of styles from sit-back-and-sigh to upbeat-and-quirky. All the band members are great communicators, with warm presentation skills.
